I post on a few footie forums where the admin regularly edit or remove posts. at the end of the day they have a responsibility to all that post and read the threads on the sites they have agreed to look after. there is plenty examples of legal actions being raised against posters and admin, so it can't be an easy task to decide where to draw the line. Having said that, most do put a statement in place of the post saying "removed by admin, because................." might be all that's needed here to stop any animosity brewing over trivial stuff, whilst protecting the admin when it gets hairy, as these things tend to do. |
