Question for the Law Commission... now let's assume that the London private hire are allowed to become one with the rest of the country, now let's assume that private hire companies are allowed to use vehicles from other areas... now let's go one step further imagine a private hire company in London recruiting Liverpool private hire drivers and vehicles and operating them in Liverpool.... now a member of the public makes a complaint regarding one of these drivers.... now here is the question... how is the Liverpool enforcement team expected to check out the records of the London-based company...
