From the taxi/PH trade I would guess less than 100.

That should have read 1000 ... sorry.... I have spoken to some horses and adding the figures that they gave it could be Between 15 hundred to two thousands

I suspect said horses will talk a lot more sense than most of submissions from the trade.

TDO folks of course exempt from such accusations.

City of Oxford licensed taxi association today advised its members to write to the LC individually. A notice was left at Oxford Station today.

Did they not consider that way forward at the beginning of the process rather than the end of it?

Then you would guess wrong.

I understand the RMT response was some 500 pages.......that makes mine a chapter

I bet that's a joy to read. :-k

And they insisted on a photo-shoot when they handed the document over to the Law Commission.

They had one too, allegedly with JU, who it is rumoured had to come in on her day off to oblige.

But then I suppose the RMT must have much better looking reps than, say for instance, the NTA, the GMB or Unite the Bunion!!

Any chance you might enlighten us with a number yourself?

personally i don't think they've taken the LC seriously enough, or they've underestimated the whole thing, however luckily for them i think the LC will have to take note of the stuff published on here.

I have given the LC a pretty hard time, but I would say they have had a very difficult job - the fact the taxi trade hasnt got a f*cking clue is something they wont have expected - although I do thing the DfT will be sniggering.

The LC could have done things a whole lot easier than following the path the and government chose for them.

I also think the cab trade has a lot of people with f*ck all brains which is only matched by their common sense......which is equally f*ck all.

I think.....and thats an awful lot for me........if me and sussex knocked our heads together we could have actually come up with something decent........instead, your all pretty much f*cked.
