West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after two people were taken to the outskirts of Birmingham and robbed by a man understood to be posing as a taxi driver. The male and female passenger were then left stranded on the edge of the city following the incident.
The incident took place at around 11pm on Saturday March 30, investigators say. Detectives would like to quiz a man after last month's incident and have asked members of the public who can help with the probe to get in touch.
Birmingham Police took to X, formerly Twitter on April 25 to release a CCTV appeal and details of the incident. A picture of a man with a face mask and bodywarmer was shared alongside the force's appeal.
