Well I know more than a hundred words or so represents a bit of a challenge, Edders  But since you seem to feel strongly enough about it to log on and remark in the way you did, then I've removed the post. As I said, it was really for my own benefit, and some people on here say me putting a bit of effort into stuff like this is because it makes me 'feel special', or something like that  So I can only apologise for any offence caused by the taxi forums' equivalent to José Mourinho - The Special One

So if that's the best they can do it'll probably be rubber-stamped. Like last time round. And just like in Glasgow and Edinburgh for some years under the same legislation. Mind you, those in the other article who seem to think the licensing process is some kind of popularity contest will probably think it was them wot won it

The council will have to come up with legal reasons if they refuse to license them. The rubbish spouted by the local firms will never in a million years meet that level of reasoning. |

Well the pub landlords are all in favour of Uber. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/ne ... k-wedding/ I wonder if they would be equally in favour of 100s more pubs opening.
