Presumably this venture was a follow on from when the South African Tourist Board invited 80 cabbies over there back in 2001. (Which in turn was a follow on from their advertising campaign in, I think, London in 1999.)
Note. The fuel consumption figures they give should read km per litre, not per 100 litres.
