We buy more stuff from EU countries than they sell to us.

Are the EU really going to play silly buggers with us?

And as for all this security nonsense, is anyone really saying that if a non EU UK gets info about an attack in France we won't pass that info on, and vice-versa?

My personal feeling is that in the short term it will damage the uk economy but my biggest concern is that immigration from EU countries is less than half the total the majority are coming from Africa and the Asia and I can't see how leaving the EU will have any impact on that we need a much more robust immigration policy to deal with NON EU migrants

My other concern is would we still keep eu emission regulations or even adopt more stringent ones bearing in mind the current governments imposition on far stricter controls on coal fired power stations forcing them all to close could we see a similar situation with vehicles

It will only damage our economy if we don't negotiate trade deals with the rest of the world like Iceland and Norway have done. They seem to be doing OK, we can still remain in the EU but without the stupid restrictions, Norway and Iceland are members of the European Free Trade Association, we can be like them but without the hassle of immigrants and the £56million a day we pay the EU

You need to read up on the trade agreement that Norway has with the EU. They DO have to pay towards the EU and they DO have to allow free movement of workers from the EU. If we negotiate a deal similar to Norway it will mean that we still take Euro migrants and contribute around half the ammount that we do now and still have to abide by eu laws on every trade deal and have absolutkly no imput into anything that may affect us in the future. And you think that is a good deal. =D> =D> =D> =D>

It's not a member state. http://www.eu-norway.org/eu/norway_and_ ... ss9Wo_XJIk

It may have free movement of people but it strict on who enters.

It's the BBC and the Tories trying to make out we'll be worse off if we leave.

Like you mentioned, we buy more off them than they do from us, Germany has it all sewn up with regards to exports.

Lets not forget the £56million a day we'll be better off, that's enough to build one new hospital every week and staff it.

The figure of £56 million a day is the gross amount that Britain pays. it does not take into account the rebate that we get or anything that the EU pays to the UK.

Come on then Nidge, tell us what the figure will be per day if we leave the EU and still want a free trade agreement?

"free" trade agreements are not gifted they are bought and only after months or even years of TOUGH negotiations

=D> =D> =D>

A few years ago there was a controversial scheme locally to turn our main square into a cobbled area with a street cafe etc. It was strenuously opposed and the council held a referendum on the day I have NEVER seen queues that long outside polling stations and once you got in they had deliberately worded the question so you had to vote no to vote yes. But the electorate was not that thick and voted overwhelmingly against it. So our council just claimed the turnout was low and ignored the result

I'll vote to stay.

How dare this country condemn others like the EU for being undemocratic institutions - we have a Queen as our head of state and an unelected second chamber in the house of lords.

The EU didn't vote to attack Iraq or Syria or Libya.

The same people that cry about foreign workers sending UK state benefits home seem to forget the dross that is on many of our housing estates who've never worked a day in their lives.

As for our justice system, hmmm, tell that to the Irish folk locked up illegally after the Birmingham pub bombings - tell that to the Liverpool supporters at Hillsborough

And i will vote out because we then cant blame all of the above on the EU

its easy SHOOT THE ROYAL SCUM NATIONALISE ALL BANKS WITHOUT COMPENSATION AND INSURANCE COMPANYS TAX THE PONCE COMNPANIES GOOGLE AMAZON STARBUCKS ETC UNTIL THEIR PIPS SQUEAK ABOLISH PRIVATE MEDICINE RE INTRODUCE THE PRE ENTRY CLOSED SHOP AND SECONDARY PICKETING BUILD 1 MILLION COUNCIL HOUSES PER YEAR FOR 15 YEARS ENCOURAGE THE TAX AND PH INDUSTRYS TO GET TOGETHER AND CREATE FAIR AND SAFE LEGISLATION TO SAFEGUARD THE INDUSTRY SHOOT ALL TORY SCUM And LAP DOGS AND OF COURSE ALL FASCISTS .........................IN THE SECOND WEEK WE ....................WELL YOU GET THE PICTURE
