I suspect the General Election concentrated minds.

So there will be a short consultation through the summer to decide on the minimum %, and by the end of the year we will all know what we need to know.

And some of us might know what to do about it.

I'm afraid Mr Sussex I would have to totally disagree, I think the Act was placed before Parliament at this time with the full knowledge that it would be passed.... nobody would vote against it and alienate their party from the disabled lobby with the date of the election being announced.....

The only people who will come out of this being winners will be the major private hire companies...

why do the powers that be assume all disabled are confined to wheelchairs?

why do they force WAVs on ALL punters, giving them no choice, is that equality?, on that basis they could force everyone to wear a blindfold so the blind are equal, and block up our ears so the deaf are not disadvantaged

this isnt equality, its working to the lowest common denominator, i know hackney WAV owners who have never carried a wheelchair passenger, what a crazy world, sorry, country we live in

Nope.....but the rest of the world is catching on.....perhaps you should do a google.....perhaps the people that most oppose the regulations should actually get off their ar$es and join a national body or union?
