Wedding cars dont require plating but what constitutes "wedding"?

Bride to the church/venue?

Couple to a hotel?

Couple to the airport?

Guests back to hotel?

asking for a friend (obviously)

Bride/Groom or their family/attendants to Church, ceremony and or reception, hotel or home.

Similar for Funeral work but to Church,Crem or planting point and then the wake then home.

In my view, it means transporting the bride/bridesmaids/groom/pages to the venue, then possibly taking them back to the celebratory party, and that's it.

Anything else needs to be via a licensed vehicle.

It's more than you think. Anything on the day to do with the wedding. To and from stag/hen parties before the wedding are NOT covered. To the airport/hotel from wedding venue is also covered. Taking the happy couple to the airport the following day is not classed as part of the wedding day celebrations. Going straight from said party to the airport is covered. No PHV licencing required but obviously H&R insurance is. It also seems to cover historic buses according to some, but the law only mentions wedding (and funeral) CARS and limousines.
