you don't have to, this is 2013, get connected, try a Bluetooth mp3 player my Nokia phone was able to play thru the car system

65.2 MPG over a distance of 29.9 miles how wonderful. Maybe if you left it for a couple of thousand miles and then looked you may get a different reading. I reset mine a couple of days ago when I was on the A1. After about 20 miles the trip was saying over 70 MPG By the time I was back home after another 200 miles the reading was down to 55.6 MPG.

I've pretty much the same skoda superb mkII, a 2lt tdi elegance, but in reality the mpg average is around 48/50 mpg, though I can artificially increase what it shows on the on board computer by doing little things like free wheeling down hills, changing the tyre size settings in the computer, or picking the best time to take a look at the shown mpg.

The only true measure of mpg is fuel used purchased per mile travelled and that's just under the 50mpg mark....not bad for a big car.
