These strange beasts seem like the world's most awesome engine while they are running well, but whoa betide you if you have a top end rattle and ignore it because it still pulls like a train. Get it checked asap if you hear any ticking because it's about to self destruct. I just hope I can save someone some cash and grief cos when those rockers break up its a whole new engine.

The new engines are coming up with a fault with the oil, after 6,000 miles it's coming up with "Change Oil." One lad round here has a brand new one and has three oil changes by now. They've even sent a Ford Tech up to take a sample of the oil away. His 100,000 mile warranty will still be intact.

Same age as the one the lad round here has got. The engine is degrading the oil for some strange reason. A ford Tech has taken the oil away for analysis. A Ford dealership has done the oil changes and has used the recommended Ford Oil.

They are mainly great engines edders 23, and will probably be good for 200,000 miles as long as you DO NOT ignore any unusuall noises, however slight they may sound.
