If the truth is known, our opinions are almost identical.
He just decided to flame me because I had a go at the LTDA.
He's been brainwashed.
What chance have you got at Unity when their members are told not to have anything to do with the rest of the trade.
Thank god all their members are not brainwashed morons, just the old few.
Every time there has been a call for action, the LTDA has always advised its members not to get involved.
But when a result has been won they suddenly claim that it was because of there secret working.
Quite a few of their membership are now sick and tired of their none involvement in crucial matters. They may have a large member base but most are their because of the Health and legal cover and nothing else.

I have never back of boasted about any association on my blog it is there to help any Taxi driver who has no allegiance to an organisation, who wants to complain. It is full of helpful email addresses and phone numbers. That's all it is, not political at all. It may have a pop at TFL and the PCO but it has never put down any trade represenative body

Still the flaming stops today.
If I have nothing to say then I will keep quiet.
I will not bite any more at GBC's insults and lies and I apologise to the other members of this Blog for having to put up with it.
Have a nice day!

Well said mate, I think youve done the right thing Thomasthetaxi
Thats exactly why I left the LTDA.
I am between representative bodies at the moment. But have a new one in mind. I have given myself till there paper comes out and I feel I will join. Its such a Pity the TGW has so little involvement with us though I would feel more comfortable with them.
I have heard that their membership is growing.
Ive had A good Look at your Blogs and cant see what has upset Lonely Boy its Probably because his mob dont do anything like it.
Anyway
You have a nice day and a great night.

Well said Andersonshelter, well said.

Just think when the attack / allegation does come in, you'll have the backing of no-one.

The Royal Oak pensioners sewing bee do just that, all hot air, lot's of slandering and personal attacks, but that's it.

I'll stick with my other 8200 member drivers . . . and don't worry, we'll use our money to change things for the better for the whole trade, you keep the £16, you obviously need it more than I do.

No, you got upset as I exposed your 'TFL allow Minicabs to use a taxi rank' release as being wrong over on the now defunct LBCF.

I should join the LCDC in that case, or sit in a Green Moaning hut all day complaining that the games dead and how the worlds due us a living.

Nope, most of them left of their own free will, some went on to form the Metrocab club.

Tosh.

Evidence this.

Lets take the LCDC 'protest number 34 of 2007' where they were asking drivers to protest in Parliament Square whereby the drivers would face arrest.

Great idea, smashing bit of legal homework there.

As for a real demo, you need look no further than The Bank or T-Square 3 years ago when thousands (not 30) turned up. When the LTDA organise one, it really does have a notable impact with full Television and Radio coverage.

Again this is your opinion. There's hundreds of private sickness cover schemes out there, why would a driver be against an association that's never forced them to remain a member?

You know Mr TCM, I visualise you as the little creature that used to lick up all the slime and goo that emanated from Jabba the Hutt in the Star Wars film.

It was always popping up with irrelevant meaningless statements whilst trying to get its head up Jabba's arse. Image

Just go to the Royal Oak and hold his hand, you never know your luck?

Wow you must have had a bad night,
Why dont you pretend to be a mini cab driver again and leave another comment on my site Dave.

Oh by the way the allegation you made of me filming Kids, why don't you pop into the royal oak any night and we can have a chat about that one.

So it's Dave now, not Bob?

Clearly my night went better than yours as you were still up at 5am posting on here . . . at least I hope you were only on here.

If the Royal Oak was on fire I would'nt urinate on it. Image
