What are white hackney cabs like for resale value maintenance etc(i,e scratches dirt), thinking of maybe adding weddings alongside my day to day cabbing.
If you want to do weddings, why not buy a car that is more suitable to the job. I have been doing weddings for 8 years now and I have seen all sorts of cars and carriages but as yet I have not seen a white hackney carriage on any.
One of the most popular with brides and drivers alike is the Beauford Tourer 4 door. It is a kit car made to look like a 1930s open top tourer. They have modern running gear, usually based on a Cortina or Mondeo and always turn heads.
