no its not, its per producer

as for 12 or so producers, tell me this, have you ever crossed swords with the vatman/HMRC?

i have...

1777 customs and excise act, go anywhere, do anything

now think on, you have to put your fuel reciepts in for your accounts?

if you rile em and get a visit whats gonna happen?

they will seize all paperwork, computers.....and vehicles

carry on, do it if you want...

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

remember HMRC are now the taxman too....

203020 (dundee) had an ad in the press stating they were converting their cabs to bio, they are also asking to be exempt from the new meter rise at the council meeting this thurs, they were previously knocked back for trying to apply for their fleet to run on red diesel

Mr T, thats great if you want to make bio-d for your own vehicles, but £1750 gets you 2500ltrs vat/duty free, then its taxable, even the 1st 2500ltrs are taxable if sold on, plus yr output product needs certification if your selling it on, PLUS, "waste oil" isnt free now, it used to be, but if you had a chip shop and knew the guy wanting yr used oil was making money out of it, or using it to save money wouldnt you want paying for it?...

It was not so long ago that restaurants and chip shops had to pay to get their old oil disposed of, now it is a fairly valuable comodity.

You can purchase equipment for making bio diesel for a lot less... it all depends on the quality of the end product..... a group of drivers could buy a machine between them, these types of machines are easy to use and the end product is usually excellent... and as for finding a supply for oil, that is down to the individual... there is plenty of oil out there and you could pay between 35 p to 50p a litre.... once you have purchased the equipment it will last you for years. if you look on Ebay you'll see plenty of oil for sale..... or PM me. ..

One result of the downturn in the economy is that the sale of fish and chips are UP!

Good luck to them;though I would want to be sitting behind one for long...
