Not a sussage.
I also got everyone I know to email him just to see if it was just me.
But we think he's gone to Alton Towers for a week with johno.
They do a great deal you know.

Try emailing Ed Thompson, i've always had a courteous reply back from him within a few working days.

Ed.Thompson@tfl.gov.uk

That's a first, every time I've emailed Mr Thompson I have only had a reply from PA Andrew Miles.
Never once in all the time Ed has been with the PCO has he replied personally.
But with all due respect that's not who we want to contact.
We are trying to contact a man who is supposed to represent the whole of the cab trade on the board of TFL. So far no ones managed to do that.

thomas and CSP perhaps we should all join the cheap florida holiday and cheap days out to alton towers club like GBC,then we would be guaranteed a reply from the twitcher.

CSP .Maybe emailing mr.wright might do the trick.
GBC sent him an email congratulating him on being elected to the TFL board.Mr wright was so pleased, he got an email from a cab driver,he told mr.oddie amd the rest as they say is history.
Bobs your uncle,all emails answered.

Ever heard of the word progress? :?

How many London cabs would pass their yearly check if that checks took place after 11 months, without any repairs? :?

10%, 20%? :?

If you knew Steve Wright MBE, you'd send him one as well.

Perhaps you should try his industry for a while as you seem to think they're on double money? I think you'd make a first class Mini cab driver.

Perhaps you could invent another username to go with it?

No, your assumption is wrong again!
When, the article was published on my blog, 29th sept, the Crisis Information was not on the LTDA web site and so our article remains unedited.
However the story has moved on since then and I believe that most drivers have already acquired this info long before the LTDA posted it.
Bit like their paper two weeks behind the times.

It was on there, and has been for over 10 days now. Fibbing won't change that, bit like the Kings Cross Bridge Taxi rank story you made up won't change the facts about that either. :^o

Needless to say feel free to update us all what you’re doing to assist the non association members to retrieve their money from the TX4 saga?

Barrack-room windbags unite.

Luckily our members are already taken care of, shame your personal hatred of Bob Oddie gets in the road of acknowledging that.

Still I'm sure the 8200 members won't worry about one old lad’s bitterness, and inability to accept the truth, even when his own OAP's dining club chairman is attempting to shin up the drainpipe at Woodfield Road.

Love it. :D

Well I don't know what were are all doing with this man representing us, So far he only answers GBC.
Even Mr acabbie has had to ask Ed Thompson and he's a member.
Perhaps we should ask GBC to ask him nicely on our behalf.
And if he's not exaggerating (gbc that is ) we should have an answer back in hours.
Funny way to have to contact your representative though!

So Mr GBC would you please ask Bob for an update on the mid term inspection.
We wait with baited breath.

I've no need to trouble him Mr A as I have the service's of all the LTDA reps at the end of a phone, all for £16 a month.

Just how many E-Mails do you think a TFL board member gets? 1000 a week? 2000?

Do you think the infrastructure is in place by way of sectretarys / support teams after he's been in post for a matter of weeks?

The 6 month consultation is still ongoing as you well know, why would he commit to a definitive answer at this stage in the proceedings?

Rest assured, it will be TAXI that lets everyone know first.

Watch this space.

I emailed Ed Thompson recently about the excessive touting that goes on in town most nights, to be honest i thought it would be better to approach him rather than someone like Bob Oddy or John Thomas.

As for contacting Bob Oddy, i have called Taxi house on a few occasions in the past and generally spoken to John Thomas but did also have some dealings with Bob Oddy though this was way before he got the job in TfL. I would say give him a month or two to get into the role; all the infrastructure needs to be put into place, contracts agreed on etc so i'm sure in the fullness of time he will respond.
