I appreciate your persistence in moaning.

But why don't you take action and find an operator with a better system.

I am sure Les in Chesterfield would welcome you.

Utter chaos today with an "upgrade" all of a sudden all the pc's went down so no data going out.
Took ages to get it sorted trying to get all the cars to switch thier pds off during the upgrade and do a soft reset when you can't send them any data and half had thier radios off

Our system went tits up at midnight and it's still not back on at 6.55am, to say it was chaos wasn't the word, did any other Mercury system go down last night at midnight?

Our system was fine.

In fact our firm has benefited by another company making a pigs ear out of it's system for the last few months. :D :D :D :D

1st New Year period for us with PDA technology and no reported problems whatsoever on any network. Maybe the phone networks are getting better, either that or the public’s so depressed that they didn’t bother sending their usual barrage of greetings.

I believe the text messages I sent and received around the 'witching hour' went straight through this year. (I know....Sad for one of my advanced years!!)

Another crap day with Excell, they've been doing their famous upgrades today and guess what??? Yep all the PDA's went belly up for most of the day. When it was upgrading I had to go to the office for something, there was a guy there from Excell, I said to him do you want to know the best upgrade for this system? He said what's that? I said the bin outside.

Apparently there was some kind of major glitch this morning at BT central where thousands of static IP addresses right across the country suddenly reverted back to being dynamic.

The problem got sorted just after 9am but it meant that the mobiles had to turn off and log on again when it started and again when it was fixed. At least it wasn't a full down, but still something we could all do without.

systems do go down, even the Evo system, but Auriga are normally on to it straight away... however, I am glad we dont rely on another party i.e. a mobile network.
