£10.30 for a 10 mile trip?

Is that above the minimum wage?

It would depend on how long it takes to do 10 miles. Most people would do 10 miles in well under 1 hour so £10.30 is well above the minimum wage.

mmmm, a coach feeder?

4 pickups, load the boot every time, or 8 pickups in a minibus...

10 miles could take 2 hours, £17?....

I do some for a local coach firm who pays 3 times that

That's true....but with the minimum wage do you have to pay for the fuel, pay for the cab, pay the running costs and pay for the licenses?

A 10 mile fare is a 20 mile round trip, so you're getting £0.65p per mile.

10 x £1.30 = £13.00

It doesn't matter if it's £50 a mile if they don't pay.

Very true. It's £0.00 per mile if you don't get paid.
