Getting back to the bank, it is likely they will just close this branch. Especially considering the financial state this particular bank is in.
If this happens then the disabled have gained nothing and the many disabled and able bodied who can access this branch will now be inconvenienced.
Also the staff may be made redundant.

That's going to make him very popular with his neighbours.

Not everybody considers the broader issues when they have their own axe to grind :roll:

The situation you outline is probably very near the mark. When pressing large business or government for that matter on any point you may not get the result that you desired.
Remember years ago when there was pressure to get both the mens and womens retirement age the same? The idea was to get the retirment age for men reduced to 60. What was the end result? Women can now work until 65. A great result.

Ok....Scratch an a RBS 28 Billion pounds Loss for the year and Re-enter in 28 Billion Six thousand, five hundred pounds instead...that £6,500 will really have the RBS shaking in its boots...
