Please let there be a sensible judge on the case, who hopefully will make the judgment against the councils who have gone ahead with an all wav policy when there is no such thing yet.
I hope it wont take long before we know the outcome

Under normal circumstances the appeal will be decided on the facts put forward in the original case but at least this part of the legislation will be settled once and for all, no matter who wins?

I dread to think what kind of bill Mr Sneddon wil be lumbered with should he lose?

I think it will be considerably higher than the four grand charles got lumbered with.

On the surface these may seem similar cases, but the points of law are different.

We will see, one way or the other.

I'm reliably informed that the bill for a case taken this far can usually run to around £20k.

I dont think there will be, you could phone the chap and tell him if he loses you'll give him a few quid?

It will be a couple of weeks before they give their ruling and it will be on the scottish courts website.
