lol not yet, it seems highly unlikely but you never know?

If that happens I may devise my own "level 3 NVQ course" and peddle it around these educational training establishments. Notice I said level 3.

That should have been the standard all along but I suppose there aren't that many people out there who could even devise a course above level 2 never mind teach one.

Regards

JD

Dearest JD

I think you are underestimating your good self.....if the NTA ever come up with any course, you'd be the first person I would actually ask "do you think it's any good".

Now please take that any way you want, but it is meant as a sincere compliment.

Ever since go skills arrived on the scene with their training ideas I thought of the idea back then but I'm not in favour of training courses because I believe the only thing required is a strict knowledge test. If a person fails that then the remedy for success lies in their own hands.

Training courses are pointless.

Getting back to the original topic I understand members of the public were not allowed to speak at this meeting but then again that also has to be confirmed.

I'm off out now to see what other rumours have been generated.

If I would add one controversial aspect to your obvious brainchild that seems to have worked for 160 years.....perhaps filling out something I'd call a "application form" by the applicant in front of a LO might not be too onerous a task? (revolutionary I know).

JD.....we've re-invented the wheel!!

No toots you don't, indeed, if you want to apply for say a Berwick license.......although a number of others are similar, you can do it by post.

That's right, you can borrow your neighbours identity and get a badge with your face on it.....although admittedly you might be better off with your neighbours wife's identity, Archie Greenback just wouldn't suit your blonde locks

Latest news I've heard is they have decided to deregulate and so the SODA have been given 5 - 18 months to make their judicial case.

Each owner driver has been told to donate around £680 for legal costs.

It was also true that no one was allowed to speak.

What are the winning chances?

What has usually happened in areas where the matter has gone to judicial review?

Has any area ever won the case against deregulation?
