Well the timing chain tensioner had to be replaced (under warranty) on Friday. All done, sounds great on the drive home.

I awoke this morning to find my nice brick parking bay covered in oil.

The clowns had forgotten to seal the chain and sprockets cover and missed out one of the bottom bolts.

Result?

Exxon Valdese the 2nd.

FFS.

And of course, they are closed on Saturdays.

FFS 2.

Still, weathers nice.

Pay them a visit and hit them with something hard. 8) How the hell can you forget to replace a seal FFS? No doubt you'll be down there the 1st thing on Monday morning giving them the GBC way of working? 8)

Sorted.

It was the oil seal behind the flywheel on the cam.

'The snapped bolt on the cover was there before we changed the chain' . . . really?

The bolt wasn't a bolt, it was a stud thay had forgotten to replace when they put the cover back on, then couldn't be bothered taking it all off again when I went back last week.

One raised voice session with the Service Manager, cover removed, and stud screwed back in.

4 hours.

Mann and Overton, Premier dealer? FFS.
