The job was to Red Sands Fort ( http://www.bobleroi.co.uk/ScrapBook/Red ... 03Pt1.html ) 6 miles off the north Kent coast as part of his plans to move the noise and pollution from west London and home counties west to the people of south Essex and north Kent.
