It seems like there will be only 1 winner here, if more phone suppliers go under, BT and they wont reduce there rates.
Is it time to bombard OFCOM and get them to get the mobile companies to reduce there call charges, or even better let everyone use there own land line number on there mobiles

Phone calls are about 50% cheaper, IMO, now that they would have been under the monopoly called BT.

Did anyone ever try to get BT to fix a line, or add a line. The cost was massive.

but they pull the wool over peoples eyes and replace equipment that doesnt need replaced and steal telephone numbers

Then threaten to sue you if you change supplier because the service they provide keeps breaking down and costing you customers.

These guys are asking for a solution. Can no -one think of a way round it?? I am thinking along the lines of a temporary freephone No. On a taxicall divert to the office till they sort it out. They could get free press coverage and a radio advert or something. Any one else?? A solution

with a 0800, 0500, 0870 or 0845 you can divert to any landline or mobile

the divert can be changed in seconds to suit

if the base has defaulted on its contracts with the car owners then they have no need to be charged for the week, doubtless they wouldnt have joined a circuit with no incoming phone lines, while the base tried cost cutting and look what happened....
