Aguy walks into a bar in Gateshead, and orders some cheap cider, all the locals sitting around the bar looked up. expecting some pitifull youth from Mansfield.

the barman says "are not from round here are you"?

the guy says no I am from sussex

What do you do in Sussex?

"I am a taxidermist"

" A Taxidermist? what the hell is a taxidermist, do you drive a taxi?

"no a taxidermist doesnt drive taxis I mount animals"

"the barmam hollers and grins "its ok boys hes one of us"

:lol: :lol: :lol: Very funny !!! As a Gateshead P.H. (disallowed from using the words "taxis or cabs") I have never never mounted animals but have stuffed loads of beaver !!! 8) 8) 8)

A man went into a "Taxi Office " in Sowerby Bridge , West Yorkshire, and said, "can you tell me the way to Gateshead,please?" " I am sorry, I don't know", said the philosopher, "When I was a flying picket during the miners strike of 1985 we just headed for Nottingham, I think it is north of there". Thanking him profusely,the grateful but bemused Geordie reflected on the events of his day in alien territory. He decided to stick around for a few days. ( To be continued ) 8) 8) 8)

Not disallowed from joining the T&G branch though.

The use of the word "beaver" and the admission to "stuffing loads of them" identifies this person to me.

Pity you can't use your old handle mate, but thats what happens when you go up in the world.
