There is abuse by you and others, that's why your posts were moderated. Calm down, You think you're a hardman so what does that prove? Does it make you right? Does it make your opinion better than anybody else's.
"A real man doesn't respond to threats in kind. He listens and responds with truth. That might not make him right but it makes him the better man."

What a feckin' erse

Obviously one of Alan's more pious moments picked out of someone else's book.

Rick

And what would you know about being a man? Huh

A lot mair than you, since from what I'm told you're taking it up the choccy box fae Garry. Is that right??

Rick Wink Wink

A pearl of "wisdom"?

That's why you're not a leading light in this trade or anything else for that matter.

All you and your site has ever done Alan is hurl insult. You created a culture of insult, which dragged the debate into the mire and resulted in the court case where personal attack has been visited on a corporate body so that the corporate body can fund the personal "redress".

Yes, you created the culture by your failure to articulate a case for the status quo and you retreated behind the last bastion of defeat - abuse.

You've always been wrong in every opinion you've ever expressed about our trade.

You were wrong on etiquette, where you tried to rewrite the rules.

You were wrong on vehicles, as witnessed by the fact that the trade has embrace the new vehicles and the improved quality they provide.

You were wrong on the setting up of the HCLCG where the secrecy it works in has already worked against it, disenfranchising every driver who works in our trade.

You were wrong to promulgate the tariff increases which has done so much to damage the trades standing in the travelling community, where we're now viewed as greedy and customers are deserting us.

You are wrong about allowing the ph to increase exponentially while restricting our trade to the point where we've lost our critical mass and our customers desert us because they now using alternatives rather than a taxi for an increasing number of their journeys.

You are wrong to place the rights of drivers to own and operate their own vehicles before the vested interest of licence holders, a clear negation of basic workers' rights, enjoyed by every other sector in our economy.

Alan, you're wrong on just about everything you've ever commented on. Your thought processes are so skewed, so illogical that you have shown you're not capable of rational thinking.

And to hide your inadequacy, what do you do? You censor and vilify opposing thought and opinion.

Modernisation means bringing an end to control of the trade by those currently driving it into the ground.

That's why there is an increasing number of right thinking people who recognise where the weeds are and are busy weeding the garden.
