Send an email to his boss JD with the full facts, or the press complaints commission stating he got the facts wrong and they could mislead the public :wink:

If he has it'll be with a golden handshake and a funny money pension...add on top the the advisory work he'll pick and he will be better off as a retired plod as he is at present..no hardship there.
