Being questioned by the police also allows this.

Would you rather be represented by a person that's dealing with another dozen or so folks at the same time, or one that is there for only you? :?

Are you suggesting that the solicitor provided by the union will not be dealing with anybody else at a police station :?

what time did the game finish? (6 hours earlier?)
when did the copper realise it was missing? (8pm? 9pm?)
why didnt he ring his network supplier and have the phone barred when he knew it was gone? (at 10pm)

and hes a copper?..............

It doesn't matter how long it takes to realise you've lost something, nor does it matter what job you're in..... he's probably been on the beer and take it from me I forget how to walk never mind anything else when I've had too many drinks :D

your not a copper though are you, if he was so rat-faced he couldnt remember where he last had his phone he was borderline incapable, hardly good form for a bobby, i bet if joe public had reported a lost phone to HIM he would have reeled out the advice he seems to have been incapable of following himself. (im sure once a phone is IMEI locked it can be unlocked as easily, but only by the network -unlike the SIM locking)

alcohol is a beverage not a bath
