if you aint making a living wage in a humane working week (i.e. 39 hours) then its not a WTD opt-out you need, its a new career

yes i agree i wonder if there is a taxi driver out there doing less that forty hours and getting more than the minimum wage

So are we all celebrating the fact that we need to work 60/70/80+ to make a reasonable living? :?

Which begs the question as to why most other trades get by with working far less. :?

I am. :mrgreen: well I am at the moment. I drive between 35-40 hours a week. Airports mainly.

Because they get the minimum wage or above
I wish the government would look at this and force owners to pay it

That depends on how much cash one needs to make.

I would'nt drive a Taxi if I only took the minimum wage, I leave that to the likes of the Minicab trade and their 7 days / 12 hour shifts.

I do 20 hours and I am earning more than minimum wage at the moment, but, I have no social life cos I working them wonderful unsocialable hours.
