Police have appealed for witnesses to the attack
A taxi driver was threatened with a knife, attacked and robbed by three men in Glasgow.

The assault happened in Boon Drive, Drumchapel, at 2225 BST on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old driver dropped the men, two of whom were described as being about 14 and 20, at the location where two got out.

The third man threatened the driver with the knife then he was assaulted by the other two. They stole a three-figure sum of money before running off.

They were last seen heading towards Glenkirk Drive.

The man described as being about 20 was wearing a brown jacket. There is no further description on the youth and no information on the third man.

Det Con Jim Duncan, from Strathclyde Police, said: "This attack was completely unprovoked and has left the victim badly shaken.

"The driver collected these three men from a location in Maryhill and drove them to Boon Drive in Drumchapel. This area is a residential area and I would appeal to anyone who may have heard any disturbance at the time of the incident to contact us as a matter of urgency."
