the princess diaries or what.
dont you get enough of that on the ranks.

Apparantly it's the 'in thing' to do, by blogging on a PC Mr T.

I can't see how it's anymore boring than reading some of the posts on here or Fastblacks, London Cabbie (The Blog writer) at least makes an effort to be positive and injects some humour into the proceedings.

Personally I think he suffers from so much bad luck, it makes me feel quite good at the lack of grief I suffer working nights.

so what if you dont want to run your own taxi some guys like to rent :?: :?:

No one says guys can't rent if they want to. Be nice to have the choice, though.

Should the owner of the taxi they drive just give you it for nothing as you are both qualified :?: :?:

I don't see anyone proposing that. Unless you are?

Many of us, all over the country, do. 8)

nothing to do with being a snob ali i just dont want to take the work place with me when iam driving about the highlands on holiday or else where mate its that simple. the weeks iam off i dont want to look at a cab or drive one. cert did not take my desk with me when i worked in a office

everyone to there own IMO i aint no big buisness man either just a working guy who is out to make a crust to live off.
i can assure you my own car aint worth a lot it does the job and the wife would not want to use a taxi to go shopping in etc etc and when iam working she needs to get about.

ha ha yes you got me with that one NOT but i was working under your system with my reply.
but you could rent a Ford Focus for £226 .09 from budget for a week less than most rentals

very true all a taxi is at the end of the day is a tool of the job but with your system we have to have quality controls so not any old pice of junk will do

no thats not true i agree that some older motors can do the job if they have been looked after and i know quite a few guys with TX1,s and they are in good working order but there is time in every motors life that it fit for the scrap heap or the mainianance cost start to rise and its cheaper in the long run to replace it you would agree would you not :?: :?:
edinburgh has one of the best fleets in the uk

ok chip what cracks are you refering to :?:

so you think the vehicle test in edinburgh the one conducted on behalf of vosa is falling short .
again chip dont just say it! back it up! where is it falling short :?:

i doubt it could ever cost as much to run an old motor compared to the finance on a new one.
you would have to blow an engine every month

but if you know different please tell :?:

i mean just look at the tour bus's running about edinburgh.
these old ladies make the council a packet .

its clear youve never been under a bonnet before chip, let alone tried to run a motor commercially, its not as complex or expensive as some would have you believe.
