In our local rag this week it has a 2 page spread on the policing of our town on a weekend night, it says in the first paragraph at 3.30am the last dregs of people are making their way home, the Council say to us we have still got people on the streets at 5am?????????? We need them home quicker they keep telling us. The Council go on to say that there are 10-12,000 people in Mansfield on a Saturday night, we must have fast taxis if 12,000 people are being cleared within 1 hour I think the Council have been sexing the figures up a little....
