how many drivers on this forum have had a hire of a lifetime ? whats been the best to date, i got a hire from falkirk, central scotland to wick, to the highest point of scotland,,,needless to say i took the rest of the week off, not bad for a sun night hire.lol

We must get together we are starting to like each other,but with you having your out of town jobs,and me working a full shift each week,we will be like taxi,s passing in the night.

Oban to SE England. 425 miles.

When we did lots of parcel work, before the TNT's and UPS's got going I did a parcel to Aberdeen and holiday brochures to Glasgow.

We would decline such an asap job these days on HSE issues. Spoilsports.

Not a long distance one but I once got paid £40 for taking a bloke and his woman about two mile one xmas eve. Turned out she had bent over in pub and split her trousers as she was not wearing any underwear it was a bit of a problem. !!!!!!!!
