This thread's just reminded me it's not long till 'Misery night' (it's a friday as well) have to stay off but won't even be able to have a rare Friday on the sherbet cos there won't be any taxi's.

Why not :? What's misery night :?
The day before Halloween! The day every littlle scally and even some of the so called good kids come out and think they have a license to cause as much damage as possible. If you don't have it in the Wirral come through the tube on the 30th oct and you'll soon think your cabs a convertable when the wind's blowing in your face.

They do have it on the Wirral but I don't live there I only work there now for my sins in a former  I don't think I'll bothered by too many kids where I live and if I am they deserve a treat for making such a long trek to find my place
No kids - Heaven, where the heck do you live then bleedin Snowdonia.

It's ok I don't mind you mistaking me for a bloke, but, I am curious as to why you think it is so bad that I come from BIRKENHEAD. I really think you should stop now cos you are digging an almighty hole for yourself. I do not live on the Wirral, I work there cos that is where I use to live and where I was born, smack bang in the middle of BIRKENHEAD, but, surely you being a mighty scouser isn't afraid of a wee lass from the Wirral

I beg your pardon, Sir.

I cannot possibly be compared with, as you so eloquently put it, a 'Cockney Barra' Boy.' How dare you suggest that the eminent company in the south, comprising the likes of Sussex, Doom, Echo 15, myself and others, could possibly be compared with such....,such......, ummmm...., sub-humanity incapable of controlling a simple personal logistics and conveyance vehicle. Indeed, my good man, the mere description of such a persons vehicle immediately conveys to us higher mortals the ill equipped nature of their chosen mode of transport.

I demand that you instantly withdraw your comparison and accusation before I cast down my gauntlet before you.

In addition, my good Sir, your language in the presence of such a highly regarded lady as Toots also leaves a lot to be desired and an instant apology to mitigate her enormous distress cannot but emanate from your lips without further ado.

Sir, I trust your next darkening of this hallowed place will be more circumspect.

(   )

I would like to point out that I am neither a jellied eel person nor a pie & onion gravy gal, I much prefer the delicate tastes of my own cooking and the flirty flavours of the local Italian
