LTI = no visitors, miserable staff, TX bollock, strangely quiet Mr Overton.

PATONS = cars, cars and cars.

CAB DIRECT = cars, few visitors, cars and a very strangely ramped E7.

JUBILEE = certain stars of the show - vw eurocab is a real stunner.

Maybe where you are mate, but around here we have had the VW Caravelle conversions for a while and although you are quite right about the vehicle itself people still buy TX's in the same volumes as always. The E7 is by far the most popular though, of the purpose built or professionally converted vehicles, with a multitude of "homemade" conversions still accounting for half the fleet.

It is, I believe these vehicles which give the professional converters a bad reputation, ie some people think that any Peugeot Expert/ Citroen Dispatch/Fiat Scudo when converted can be called an E7.

I doubt we will see the end of LTI, but I think in some areas we have seen the end of their monopoly.

They had loads of staff, maybe to many, and everytime I looked they had plenty of visitors.

Yes the others had many more cars, but some of them were really [edited by admin] poor.

as for the vehicles, they have that much confidence in their product they convert rather than make their own. then want rules changed to suit them, hmmmmm taxi trade through and through
