is the bora the same body size/engine as an octavia?

See the "Diesel Power Tuning" thread.

I fitted one to my Superb 1.9 130Tdi and improved my ave mpg from 39-40 up to 44-45mpg. ( this includes lots of town work where the meter doesn't move)

They can be fitted to any modern common rail diesel though.

I must be the only one doing 95% country roads 30-40mph all day

Yes but its the same size as the mark 1 mark1 = A4 up to 2004 though you can still get them from the taxi centre until 2010, mark2 = A5 from 2004
The Bora only has a boot and has restricted access,and the same cramped rear leg room as the A4, the A5 however has loads of rear room and a bloody dark hole of Calcutta for a boot space and only comes in hatch and estate

so i want a 2005 octavia then, or superb at a pinch, either with the 1.9 130 engine?
