I think it is the John Sargent syndrome. He was so bad that the judges slated him every week. The public, who always like to see judges going mad, voted to keep him in the show. This is the same with the twins. The public see how much it winds Simon up and keep voting for them. Normally I would not have a problem with this but I do think it is a shame that some of the better singers are going out because of this.
There is of course a flip side to the argument. Maybe they are being kept on the show and Simon is playing up to them just to keep the interest in the show going because lets face it, without the twins, no one would be even talking about the show.

There may be only one winner of the show but all the finalists go on the X factor tour so they are all winners in that sense. Don't forget the other "winners" as well. Simon and Louie will already have signed up any of them that look like selling a record.

I dunno how you can watch it let alone post a thread on it, this and all the other talent shows, add big brother and some of the chat shows in with soap opera's all add up mind blendering, get some Discovery and History channel subs together and learn about important things, or another way to put it, understand the workings of your car.
