I must concur.

You couldn’t give it away at that price! :wink:

But on a serious note, why doesn't the NTA advertise down in London, it seems some of my 26'000 colleagues seem to have some difficulty in finding the will to join a London based set up for £15 a month, perhaps the £36 a year may appeal to them.

What’s the legal protection like?

I gather some disillusioned RMT members may be looking for alternative representation over the forthcoming months.

In London taxi drivers should join the LTDA.

My associations legal protection is excellent......;

Provides legal costs and expenses to:

     defend or plead in mitigation in respect of a road traffic prosecution brought against the policyholder arising out of the ownership or use of an insured vehicle;

     appeal against judgment, conviction or sentence;

     represent the policyholder in a hearing about the revocation, curtailment or suspension of a Hackney Carriage Proprietors or Hackney Carriage Drivers licence.

Indeed we can also have;

     Round-the-clock legal advice and assistance services

     Drivers’ Assistance

     Counselling Helpline Service

Regards

That's £36.50p.....or 10p per day

That is great value . . . providing individuals can apply for membership!!

Where is the APPLICATION FORMS FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP on the NEW UPGRADE NTA WEBSITE, because I can't find it to download & print?

All I can find is Membership Application Forms for Associations, but nowhere can I find Membership Application Forms for Individuals!

My cheque for £36.50 is ready, the envelope to send my Membership Application Form & cheque is addressed, the envelope is stamped.

BUT, ALAS, I am Application Form for Individual Membership challenged, bereft, orphaned, without, unable to download & print!!

OR, do I just download the Membership Form for Associations in Word Format, amend it to reflect a Application Form for Individual Membership, save it, print it, make a PDF version, save that too & then email both to you so you can add them to the NTA website?

:oops: :oops: :oops: :wink: :wink: :wink:

Yes BC lol

I must say out of the 30 odd forms recieved so far you appear to be the one having the most difficulty.

If you would like to design one specifically for individual membership that would be fine ;)

No Mr Oakes.....£200.00 is the introductory price for a new member association, it is applicable for the first three years of membership, then after the full fee is payable.

The new individual membership scheme is specifically designed for areas which have no representation.

Best Wishes
