Best quality controls in the world, only the most committed candidates pass through, we all speak English, we all know where we are going without a little box on the windscreen, and our vehicles are practically rebuilt every year at great expense.

These standards are maintained by keeping the pressure up on those 'in charge' by the three main trade groups.

The incompetence of the PCO to keep the wanabee's under control has no reflection on our standing in London.

The recent demo over the Minicab driver with a murder conviction should be enough evidence of that.

And what did their trade body do? Zilch as per the norm.

CORRECTO! EVEN A LICENSED MINI-CAB DRIVER IS SOMEONE ,however to turn your back on such incidents is typical of the majority,........IF you pretend to object to TOUTS,and assaults and do nothing THEN STOP GO*BING OFF.
