Seagulling isn't the problem Swannee is trying to make out. For the most part, it only happens at peak times when hacks can't keep up with customer demand.

Didn't think you had any work Skull? You do come out with some bottom gravy at times.

I just love Chipper, don't you all?

He's an illusion sponge.

He's sooking in every possible part of the illusionhe's long aspired to.

You see, in Chipper's mind, Chipper has arrived.

It creases me. The status quo is destroying itself .... and all it offers to maintain its greed is ..... Chipper.

An exalted position Chipper

you two are a pair o plonkers you think you know it all

you see boys you keep going on about how PH is doing this and that well get yourself over there and drive with them as they are doing so so much better
you see i decided that i wanted to take a wage cut so i moved over to the hacks as the money i was making on PH was far to much and i like to be poor

THE SIMPLE FACT IS MORE TAXI ON THE ROAD = LESS WORK

when PH was in the low numbers they could make money now they are in the high numbers they cant and the same will happen to the taxi trade if you plonkers get your way

you tell us that with your £200 per week on the road taxi that is also your personal car as well that you can work the busy times of the day to meet the demand !!

So tell me when will the busy times be as everyone will be working them

more sitting on the ranks for you and me

Why do you think seagulling happens its simple they need to to make money as they aint got the work and its getting worse due to down turn right now

so the big question is are you going to give PH a go bet you are two chicken to do it

Skull Jasbar, why not set up your own PH company at least you will get a plate, then invite others to join you at £20 a week office rent, drivers must provide there own radio
Once this new equality law comes in ECC will have to licence saloon hacks as well so you could be ahead of the game :D

I lost track of how far this legislation got before the general election,

But the only important thing as far as taxis were concerned was that no council could restrict numbers UNLESS they already had a 100% WAV fleet. So Edinburgh would be safe.

1.If the trade is dead as you shout so often, then why are you still driving a cab?

The trade is heading for the cliff edge, give it another 9 months, and we just might be going over. I know for a fact that some will. As for driving a taxi, it's still better than driving Ph, but worse than stacking shelves in Tesco.

2.Are you still earning enough to live on comfortably?

Not for the hours I work.

3. If PH are "filling their boots" are they making more than you?

No, but soon you won't be able to tell us apart.

4. Do you think you would make more money driving a PHC?

No, but I don't feel so grateful that it makes a huge difference. At this point, we are earning less, as a consequence of giving our work away.

ECPH, as a company are living in the future. ..
