How many years? I remember from my school days that they were saying that the coal reserves would last less than 100 years and north sea oil and gas a lot less than that. We had a superpit open up here that never produced any coal at all. They dug down and then couldn't find the seam. It kept dissapearing.


I've seen photos of trainloads of coal coming out of Asfordby they must have produced some have you thought of digging a hole in your back garden to find it :lol:
