The question is...was it a Hack or PH he was driving ??

if it was a booking it will be logged...if he was PH..then he's picked up illegally !! still does'nt excuse nor merit, the outcome but interesting eh ??

Why did Tayside Police not release any vehicle details ??

I bet the robber was disappointed, I thought you lot were earning about £20, a shift. It wouldn't surprise me if the robber contacted the council and asked for the cap to be put back on.

I've just heard on the News, the robber has handed himself in after being overcome with remorse. As part of his penance, he promises to set up a benevolent fund for hard up Dundee cabbies.

It was also reported the criminal fraternity of Dundee have promised to have a whip round to start the ball rolling. There was even talk of setting up a soup kitchen.

It has been reported that Dundee council has been inundated with complaints from angry Dundee criminals, with some saying “Cabbies are just not worthwhile robbing" and" life is getting very hard” A spokesperson for the criminal fraternity has promised to lobby the council to have the cap put back on.

tx_op and stationtone will be over the moon to hear this.

But in planet tx_op only taxis exist.

Except in the real world PH exists also.

Now tx_op, consider that PH only exists in the numbers they now do because YOU and your ilk restricted the growth of taxis.

By denying drivers the right to their own taxi, you caused PH to increase to meet the demand the taxi trade denied even existed.

YOU made your bed.

Now lie on it.

BTW The sad thing is you now want to put the cap back on so that PH can expand even more. Make your problem even bigger.

You surely do have a talent fo stupidity.

Dundee's De-restricted ! has been for 7 yrs..so don't go making comparisons in order to justify your plot for world domination !

So answer me this..if the (what you and yer M8 call) tools of the Trade are openly accessible to all....why get a PH ???

if your into domination the WWW is full of sites to satisfy your're vice!!

There does seem to be a surge of reports of taxi drivers being attacked in the press recently, all over Scotland.

I think that interior AND exterior cameras need to be brought in as standard equipment in taxis as soon as possible.

It's not as if it is complicated or expensive technology these days.

And before anyone asks,
I am not selling the cameras!
