Weren't you one of the companies who came on here a few months ago to say how wonderful the Diplomat system was?

Aren't you one of Stewie's mates?

So what system have you changed over to then?

Mercury ?

Or are you just using Diplomat with PDAs instead of data heads?

I dread the word Dilpomat being mentioned on TDO.

What I would like to hear, is why?

Why have Chingford Radio Cars dumped Diplomat?

Would they care to explain?

For the record, Chingford Radio Cars are a very pro outfit with a large fleet. I am intrigued as to the reasons they have changed system. It clearly isnt a cost issue.

I wonder if Shabs at Advance cars in Walthamstow is still going strong with Diplomat?

Are you angry Bob? usually capitals are for an expression of anger.

Wonder why, its christmas, season of good will and all that, go on tell us why you left then, we like a good story on here.

I had decided I was not going to baited here but there is one point that may be valid.

If they know this forum and have posted before why the fleck are they trying to flog diplomats data heads on it? sureley they would know this is the last place anyone would buy anything related to Diplomat, except, Andy7 of course, he might buy them. Have to be cheaper than diplomat though

Merry christmas and a happy new year to you all.

Regards

Eric

No I believe Bob never wrote that original post. But if you want to tell us why you have moved on please do not keep us in suspense any longer

So, what you suggesting Eric? That Peter wrote the original Chingford spiel?

My suggestion that they might go over to Mercury was mischevious, I'll admit.

So too was my comment that it obviously isnt a cost issue.

Very cheeky to suggest I'd buy em if they were cheap. Of course not! Perish the thought!

So how much are they?

Well perhaps they had operational problems and Stewart couldnt help.

If they are a pro outfit they need pro backup

and they are going out to get it.

as for the datex units they have no commercial value, the directors report on the defunct outfit said so.

Still would like to hear why.

We can all have our opinions. Just like to hear why Chingford have changed from Chingford themselves. The technical reasons or whatever.

Whats the big fuss about chingford changing there system.
everyone has to look after there business, and whats best for them.

AS FOR ME I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DIPLOMAT, (or with anyone else)
BUT WHEN I DO I WILL NOT BE ASKING ANYONE I WILL CHANGE TO WHATS BEST FOR MY BUSINESS.
SHABS.

PS
ITS NO GOOD BUYING A CAR IF YOU HAVE'NT LEARN TO DRIVE.
