Where does it say, a member of the GMB, would receive Legal Representation in a court of law?

Is Legal Representation mandatory?

I have no idea, that's why I'm asking you about the NTA.

There is, representation and Legal Representation in a Court of Law.

What does the NTA provide as a condition of membership ? :-|

Where did anyone claim that being a member of the NTA provides you with legal representation?

There are claims by some on this forum that, had the 21 in Ashfield been members of the NTA or the BMG. They would still be working irrespective of Ashfield Council's decision to suspend.

This would take an appeal through the courts.

I'm starting to think those blowing about the NTA, and the BMG are full of shi*.

Are you sugesting that the LO is targeting drivers who have no affiliation to a union or association?

It would seem obvious that drivers with no affiliations to any local or national organizations will be less able to take on power mad Local Authorities or LA Officers with over inflated self importance.

How would they know who was o was not affilated to what. They would only know those that are the spokesperson for the said union or association or perhaps those that have been before them on another matter, with representation

I have it on very good authority that had these drivers been members of the GMB, when all this came about, they would be working tonight, tomorrow night and every other night until they won in court.

Once again, there is, representation and Legal Representation in a Court of Law.

Does the NTA, BMG, T&G or RMT provide Legal Representation in a Court of Law as a part of their conditions of membership?

This is what the RMT writes in their Legal Services page:

Quote:
RMT provides a wide range of legal services for its members (subject to Rule for eligibility and legal assistance).  For an initial enquiry, one of our freephone helplines should assist:

I would call this bullshi*.

Does someone want to explain to me where I have got it wrong?
