Taxi Driver Online

Hope someone can help me. I've only had one vehicle and I paid cash for it off another driver so never had to deal with any of the companies selling taxis.

I'm thinking of getting a Skoda Superb and have to plead my ignorance regarding how they work out the monthly payments. Where a weekly/monthly cost is mentioned, how many years is that normally spread over?

Also, from experience what are the best companies to deal with?

Taxi Centre in Glasgow mate they are on the net.

Superbs go for about £300 per month which isn't bad for the car you get.

As for the Finance you should be OK if you've got a good Credit Rating.

I've always just gone straight to a dealer for whatever vehicle I've bought, but, to be honest I've only ever bought pugs. So long as you tell them it's going to be used for a taxi they'll tell you whether it's covered on the warranty. Mine have always been covered on the warranty but I've heard others say they haven't but I don't know how true that is. Quite a few of the guys here have the Kia as well cos it has a good warranty, but, again I don't know first hand. Shop around it's a lot of money so make sure you're happy with everything they tell you

Try a Dealer, get an ex Demonstrator or nearly new and you'll still get a damned good vehicle with plenty warranty but without the big devaluation shock as you drive it out the showroom doors...

These Taxi supplier groups are not charities, they just wrap it up in a deal that makes it look like its a great bargain.

they pre-register the car, claim back the vat, and sell it on to you, vat inc.

the advert for "no vat" skodas on local radio had the message at the end "DISCOUNT 15% IS EQUIVALENT TO NOT PAYING VAT, VAT IS STILL PAYABLE"

A 15% discount sounds well and good, indeed excellent....but whats the catch? do they charge Higher APR on the Finance or is there no catch?
