Currently I drive a saturday night for a local company. I'd like more work but the company has enough drivers during the week. The system is I get third of takings which suits me.

Does anyone know if there would be drivers out there who would share their car. I don't want to hire a vehicle full time, just the odd day here and there would do me.

Maybe I'm being stupid. Just say if I am and I'll stop thinking about it.

I have a Taxi licence.

Have you considered hiring/leasing a vehicle full time and sharing it with someone else? :?

If you're not already with them, try Express. They still have drivers sharing at weekends, sometimes all week.

Other than them, your choices are limited. Ask on Newmarket St about double shifting, but I think you'll be disappointed.

You don't have to go full system (radio etc) there are cars out there at around £150 a week (all found). You need to ask on the ranks to see if any available, tho'. This close to Xmas, I'd say doubtful, but who knows.
