Just a point for everyone reading this.
When I went for our last fare increase in Brum, I made the same mistake as above; calculating the distance per drop/click to two decimal points of a yard. I only wanted to be as accurate as above.
Then I rang Cygnus the main taximeter manufacturers & spoke to Ann in the tariff calculations & verification department. She told me that their taximeters are only capable of being set to one decimal point of a yard or metre.
So displaying the yardage to two decimal point on the Table of Fares is pointless.
