Yes money's down everywhere but in Edinburgh we are still making a reasonable living maybe working a few more hours. Radio in cab at this time helps. So does double shifting a motor! (We'd all lose out if they put more cabs on and diluted the shrinking workload even more.) Service would suffer badly then.

The trade is not pulling itself apart; it's only you and your mate who are trying unsuccessfully to do that!

PH need better regulating as they are ignoring the law regarding picking up and using bus lanes both illegally. Proves they are toiling financially, though.

Council are acting no differently to usual. So no change there, either.

Swannee, the council is readying themselves for pulling the plug. We told you before that de-restriction is inevitable. And you still won't listen. Never mind Swannee, you will soon have your taxi all to yourself. You know Swannee, there is something about the prospect of watching you squirm that makes de-restriction all the more gratifying.

Aye Swannee will be destroyed because of Swannee's mindset.

We see opportunity.

He sees disaster.

We succeed.

He fails.

All because he couldn't open his mind to reality.

BTW, Lest there is any doubt, I relish his pain. Because the pain could disappear if he opened his mind. But its not going to. Because he's stupid

Granted, we were a bit before our time, but you won't have to wait much longer. I doubt very much if a restricted market will last another year.

If I remember correctly, I think we said, private hire, recession or de-restriction would be the downfall of the trade, our preferred choice being, de-restriction of course. And now we have all three, who would have thought?

Excellent really. It may be 4 or 5 years. But your plate value is going and it has cost us buttons. Zilch Naff all. Your plate value is worthless - £25 grand to £50 grand to ..... feck all.

Just think Dougie, if we'd had real cash it would have been game over 4 years ago. And the pile of flowers left for you in Market Street following your triple pike off the North Bridge would have long withered and been binned. Just like restriction.

Keep grafing Dougie. It's your only real worth to be an obedient unit of production

BTW Dougie, we get a sense that when derestriction comes you're gonna be somewhat relieved

Why don't you do yourself a favour, wake up now, smell the coffee, understand the potential and get your brain in gear working out how to realise that potential?

What will you (skull & jasbar) get if and when Edinburgh de-restrict? What potential will you be able to realise?

We only have your word for this Cappers.

With all the p-sh that comes through your keyboard it would be surprising if your wick was out of your hand long enough for it to be dipped anywhere.

Perhaps it's your inability to hook up that drew you to the conclusion that rape could possibly be reasonable.

BTW Will you remind Toots that he is being deliberately ignored
