One in 20 years. One out of around 40'000 drivers in that period.

Hundreds, if not thousands of rapes carried out in Minicabs over the same period.

I think if I were a lone female, I know which form of cab I'd be using.

Not a Black Cab!! Here's another of your Sexual 'Knowledge' Predators

Taxi driver, 74, admits sex assault

01.11.10

A black-cab driver who sexually assaulted a 21-year-old student in the back of his taxi has been spared jail.

William Gross, 74, convinced the woman to chat with him for a few minutes after taking her to Blackheath on May 19.

Blackfriars crown court heard that Gross, a widower who had been a taxi driver for 31 years, then tried to kiss her and grab her breasts.

Gross, of Point Clear Bay, Essex, admitted sexual assault and was given a three-year community order and placed on the sex offender register for five years. He was ordered to pay £2,500 compensation and £300 costs.

I think your slogan should be Stop the Rapes Dont stop a Black Cab

As you well know these incidents are extremelly rare within the Licensed London Taxi Trade.

Its a great pity the same cant be said for the licensed  private hire fratire! eusasmiles.zip

P.S. Thanks for the heads up regarding Clapham High Street no- mark!

Cleaned up there Saturday night, no end of work.

Few of you low life scum touting but by and large i witnessed punters prefer to wait for the real thing.

Know what i mean?

Two in less than a year and how long have they been at it? One bad apple turns to two and I hear there could be another quite soon.

That’s a typical evening in one of your cars though isn't it DD?

They're so common within the London Minicab trade it’s hardly newsworthy anymore.

Minicabs in London are, and will be forever be associated with drug running, laundered money, rapes, illegal immigrants and touting, no matter how you dress the word Minicab up.

Sadly the Knowledge schools are full of skint Minicab drivers, and it will be them same drivers who will bring their bad habits with them to the real London taxi trade.

It does make me smirk though when you have the audacity to criticise a Taxi demonstration, how many have your side held? None? Zero? I had to laugh further when you mentioned the word 'United'. What does the Minicab trade know about that word?

How many Minicab drivers (those that are not forced to sign up to the GMB by Fred Keene) are united by way of a trade body? 100? 200? Out of 60'000? :?

It seems unless John Griffen pulls your strings, you're incapable of doing anything for yourselves.

I asked you to post a link of news coverage of the Demo because an interview with Paul Ross before the demo and a stormcab video is not news coverage. So post a news link BBC LBC or other news organisation. You may have done the knowledge but you do need to learn to read.

Do it yourself.

In the meantime come clean about who you are and what you claim to stand for

I bet you cant.

You are a joke just like your claims regarding Bromley and its bus lanes.

That'll be why in 20 years of being in and around the real London Taxi trade I've not known one single driver transfer over to the pretend side?

And that'll be why the Knowledge Schools are bursting at the seams with Minicab drivers on the Knowledge trying to escape 12 hours a day, 7 days a week in the likes of your hands.

Delusional.

Are you sure you’re not Don Glave resurrected from the grave? You spout as much crap as he did.

The Demo was against Minicabs plying for hire under the thin guise of a 'satellite office license'.

It was aimed at the PCO / TFL bods, and they were well aware of the demo.
They must be, they had about 50 Police Officers and TFL officials deployed.

After the Oxford Circus drive about, of which I took part along with a couple of hundred other Taxis, several cabs went to the Palestra building, and John Mason came out to see what was going on, so I think it's safe to say he's aware of the demo.

Whether the BBC or the Evening Standard chose to report it or not is neither here nor there, it was aimed at TFL, and they knew about it.
