im a bitter and twisted and cynical bstard but sometimes i think maybe, just maybe, too much help is on offer for some.
can we simply increase help without cap or restrictions all help for everyone?
we are in the grip of a recession, cuts are being made, aircraft carriers scrapped (on the spot) and yet Mobility cars are everywhere, "free" appears on lots more road tax discs, blue badges abound (and some car occupants look decidedly well to me...), schemes like this arent bottomless buckets, and at the end of the day someone has to pay.
Volunteer services, free passes, tokens, concessions, etc, etc, etc...
No wonder Calais has a backlog of immigrants waiting for the right truck to come along..
