If I'm off work due to very tender finger tips from typing too many posts on TDO, is that covered by this policy?

I think you mis-typed; you typed 'str' instead of 'p'.

We already know his pre existing medical condition. In fact there are quite a few on here with the same condition.

And I suppose you also suffer from this same mystery pre-existing medical condition Mr Grandad!

No mystery considering Wannabee has mentioned it in the post above yours.
Type 2 diabetes. Non insulin dependant, DVLA aware, no restrictions. LA also aware.
It has been posted before.

Diabetes is the most common undiagnosed medical condition in the UK

a simple check can save you from kidney failure, heart disease, loss of limbs due to amputation circulation problems, blindess due to retinopathy, high blood pressure and more

get checked, all who drive for a living are high risk due to thier sedentary life style (i.e. you sit on your ass all day)

Morning Guys!!

I come to work this morning to a frenzy of jokes and p**s taking which is hilarious!! Caertainly cheered me up for a Thursday morning, so thanks!!!

AT least we didn't get on to the subject of Eastenders!!

I'm surprised no footy comments!! I am a Villa fan for my sins and think we are def in trouble!! We should get out of it though but can't believe we lost to Sunderland !!!

OK - having checked the medical side - unfortunately any form of diabetes will not be covered - so I am going to struggle to help you Wanabeeahack - Very Sorry but I'd rather be up front with you, Ill do a bit of research and see if there is anyone who might cover you but could be difficult

Brummie Cabbie - I am sure I can help with your condition!! If you can't drive due to sore finger tips - I can help

I'd still like to help, if anyone is interested, please get in touch

Thanks

Richard

There are umpteen threads on here where it is mentioned about drivers working excesive hours and eating greasy food. Sitting behind the wheel and not getting any proper exercise and poor diet are two of the main contributors of people getting type 2 diabetes.

Well thats not the lifestyle thats lead by Taxi drivers that I know, quite the opposite in fact.

We even have days off and Gyms down in London.
